Radstock Primary School was inspected in May 2018. Please find below a letter written to parents from Mrs Slocombe and Prof. Charlton-Perez regarding the inspection, along with a copy of the report and a copy of the letter sent to the children.
The inspectors identified a number of positive aspects of the school that we are proud of. They highlighted that "Pupils behave well and attend school regularly. They are friendly and confident. Pupils show positive and respectful attitudes towards each other." The inspection team also identified that "Leaders have an accurate understanding of the school's strengths and weaknesses," and that "The Headteacher's strong leadership and actively ambitious vision for the future are securing evident improvements in teaching and pupils' progress."
Since the inspection, Radstock's staff and governors have worked hard to make the necessary improvements so that all pupils achieve their best. We are waiting for our next Ofsted Inspection, which we expect toward the end of Autumn 2020.
